New for 2017 is the Ventus SLR Pro Catch Glove from Vaughn. As you can probably tell by the product photos, the catcher features a large front catch profile for greater net coverage (wider open pocket area). The pocket is wider and extra deep (T-web). A molded carbon fiber palm provides increased protection and superior glove shape, while the front cuff features an HD foam protective panel.
Inside the glove, a neoprene flex inner hand for glove control is included, in addition to a positive grip inner hand base. There is also internal added wrist padding in the Ventus SLR Pro Catch Glove. A few other features of the glove include:
- Reinforced finger edge perimeter
- Padded wrist strap with increased adjustment
- Fingertip deflecting rail
- Added thumb and hand base padding
- Flared back cuff for increased wrist movement
