New for 2017 is the Extreme Flex E3.5 Junior Catch Glove from CCM. Starting with the cuff / thumb, it is a one-piece design built to maximum coverage. There is a 600 break angle offering a middle-of-hand closure. The palm stiffness features a “game-ready” fit for easy break-in, while the wrist strap is a webbing strap for quick and easy adjustments for the goalie.
Moving onto the pocket, a new double-straight tee helps track the puck, while low-density finger padding is found in the finger guard, offering great protection. The cuff / thumb composition is an injection-molded PE and PE foam helping with puck impact absorption, while the thumb radius is curved and helps deflect the puck into the pocket.
